Get to Know Charleston Allergy and Asthma

Bruce D. Ball, Sr, MD

A Charleston native, Dr. Ball and his wife, Mitzi, have four children. He is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults.

Andrew E. Davidson, MD

Dr. Davidson is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults. He spends his free time playing guitar and performing for local charitable events.

Jeffrey J. Dietrich, MD

Dr. Dietrich settled on Charleston after being stationed at Charleston AFB with his wife and three children. He is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults.

Elizabeth Majeski, MD, PhD

Dr. Majeski completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, where she was selected to be a Chief Resident from 2008 - 2009. She then moved to Nashville, Tenn. where she trained in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at Vanderbilt University.

Meredith L. Moore, MD

Dr. Moore earned her M.D. at USC School of Medicine and served more than 20 years as an active-duty physician in the Air Force. She is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults.

Lindsey S. Steadman, MD

Dr. Steadman earned her M.D. at USC School of Medicine and completed her allergy and immunology fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults.

Carolyn R. Word, MD

Dr. Word completed her bachelor’s degree, M.D. and allergy/immunology fellowship at the University of Virginia. She also attended MUSC for her pediatric residency. Dr. Word is board-certified in allergy, asthma and immunology in both pediatrics and adults.
